Shafi Rabi Foundation

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

WE ARE FOCUSSED ON EMPOWERING WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND YOUTH TO LIVE THEIR BEST LIVES.

THE SHAFI RABI FOUNDATION

The Shafi Rabi foundation is named after Shafi Rabi Kahin, who until his untimely death in September 2020, was the chairman of the Jubaland Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (JCCIA). The foundation was established to honor the memory and legacy of Shafi Rabi by continuing his work of empowering communities in Jubaland and greater Somalia.

The foundation was created with one simple aspiration, to make difference in the lives of others through thoughtful and effective humanitarian and development interventions. We believe we can help to reduce poverty and improve the lives of those in need, and that is why we work with communities to promote long-term opportunities across education, livelihoods and healthcare.
